Our Cottage in Rendbjerg

Close to the Flensburg Fjord, there are lovely hills on which holiday cottages are scattered in the green, overlooking the fjord.

Along the coast, there were sentries. The memories of the Schleswig wars was still alive. These patrols were carried out from 1920 until 1950.

The view over to the German coast today has nothing dangerous about it; During the times of war around 1848-1964 the region was ploughed with warfare.
