my elder brother Erik

born in Rauden/Westpruissa as the second child

Here, he was still a baby in May 1944

In Rauden our mother was not very happy

1945

Wolfgang and Erik died from Diphtery within a few weeks. They had got this infection on the escape from the Red Army. Erik was in a hospital in Rostock, Wolfgang in Gelbensande, where the Family lived during the end of the war.
