Das Textilobjekt
Was liegt näher, als einen textilen Gegenstand auch mit textilen Mitteln darzustellen? Es handelt sich um ein jackenähnliches, aus Rückenteil und Ärmeln bestehendes Stoffbild. Es ist nicht tragbare Kunst, sondern ein Textilbild.
Die Mittel der Gestaltung sind eine aus alten Kleidungsstücken zusammengenähte Grundform mit einem Besatz aus bemalten oder bedruckten Stoffstücken, überwiegend annähernd quadratisch, appliziert, gelegentlich bestickt und gequiltet, das heißt, auf ganzer Fläche in kleinen Stichen mit dem Untergewebe verbunden. Die bemalten Quadrate wurden überwiegend als Monotypie aus Acrylfarbe hergestellt. Zartere Gewebe sind aufgebügelt und dann genäht. Die Ausstellung wird hängend auf einer Stange erfolgen, die an den Enden mit Ringösen versehen wird, in denen Nylonfäden befestigt werden.

The Fiber Art Object
What would be more consequent than creating a fiber object together with the paintings? This is a cloth picture in the shape of a coat, consisting of the back and sleeves. It is not wearable art, but rather a textile picture. The material is a basic shape, combined out of parts of old clothing with layers of painted or print pieces of cloth in square shape, occasionally embroidered or quilted, which means that the whole piece is fixed to the base with small stitches. The painted parts are mainly monotypes of acrylic paint. Light fabric has been fused and quilted. This piece can be shown in exhibitions by means of a stick through the sleeves which is equipped with eye bolts for fixing strings.
